The Ryde Aquatic Centre was built for the Sydney Olympic and Paralympic Games where it was the primary host of water polo.
Following the success of the Sydney Olympic and Paralympic Games, the vision for the Ryde Aquatic Centre was for it to become a leading community aquatic, fitness and leisure facility.
IVG was engaged to guide the venue successfully into legacy mode. This required conversion of much of the venue physically, recruiting and training a new team of staff, undertaking pre-opening marketing and establishing programs desired by the local community.
The Centre is to this day one of the most popular and busiest in Sydney.
