Working with project stakeholders such as DFAT, the Australia-Japan Foundation, and the Board of Education in each of the ten prefectures in Central Japan, we conceptualised and managed a school’s education project called ‘This is Australia’.
The program was a legacy activity of Australia’s participation in the Aichi World Expo. Over 27,000 students and 300 schools in the Chubu Region participated in the project, with the programs conducted by Australians living in Japan.
The program delivered high student engagement and achieved our clients’ goals of building connection and understanding between Australia and Japan in the emerging generation.
